If you’ve been looking to host a private retreat or teach your own, then we have some options for you. 

Option 1: Guest Teacher

This program provides you the opportunity to come to our wonderful eco-village, and teach your craft or course. With this option, we will book and promote a special retreat, specific to your offering. Whatever expertise you bring, we will work around, and create an event that highlights your expertise. 

For example, do you have people who wish to practice alongside you in Costa Rica? We will pay you 30$ per yoga class taught, plus 20% for those who you refer to the retreat. The great part about this is, you show up and teach your class, and we take care of the rest. 

Accommodation and food: 

Guest leaders receive free accommodation and food whilst teaching here. You will have a nest bed, and if you want to bring a partner, they pay half price and must share the bed (we have limited room). 

What we are looking for: 

We look for three main qualities in our guest teachers:

• Experience: Are you incredible at your craft/skill/occupation? How do you market yourself? How do you ensure our guests have a memorable experience? 

• Organized: Do you have a plan? How do your courses work? 

• Fun: Do you live and breathe your topic? Will guests feed off your passion?

Retreat proposal and outline:

All guest teachers are required to submit a retreat proposal. We want to know the following kinds of things:

• Who are you? 
• What would you like to do?
• How many people will you attract?
• Current marketing strategy? Youtube? Social Media?
• Do you have a studio that will join you?

We receive many inquiries from teachers and those that have a great proposal stand out from the rest. 

Why us?

There are 150+ other retreat centers across Costa Rica, but people continue to choose us. This is because we offer a unique blend of many activities. We have the permaculture setup and expertise. We have the yoga aspect. We are close to the incredible surfing beaches of the Southern Nicoya Peninsula. These are all things to keep in mind when developing your retreat plan and theme. 

Option 2: Private Retreat

Do you have a large fan base? Do you run a popular yoga studio? This option allows you to book out the entire resort space for a week. This has worked well in the past for people wanting to curate a specific event for a group of people they already know or to make more money teaching. 

Cost: 

For a private retreat, you will be renting the entire ranch for the week. Our pricing starts at $4000 + food. In terms of deposit, we ask for $2400 to save your space, and the remaining balance must be paid 60 days before the start of your retreat. 

Important: If you are unable to pay the balance 60 days before the required date, you will lose your deposit and space. We must do this as it takes significant time and effort to plan for such an event, at great cost to us. 

How does it work? 

Booking options:

1. Pay us the total, and handle the booking yourself
2. We can book clients for you. We ask for a 100$ referral bonus for those people we bring through our marketing. 

You can charge attendees whatever you want for the retreat. Clients you bring in are not subject to a commission. 

Food: For the whole week, we charge 150$ per person. This includes ingredients and preparation. We do not serve red meat on the farm, but you are free to hire your own chef who will cook whatever you want! We can cater to vegetarian, vegan or pescetarian diets. We serve organic, locally raised chicken. Please enquire if you have any specific dietary requirements.

Additional Fun: 

You are more than welcome to add some of our standard programs to your retreat. This includes beach trips, permaculture courses. We will then negotiate a price for you for those services. You are also more than free to create your own unique program with your own resources. We can talk along the way about how your retreat is going to work. Some fun activities you can add on are:
