The Sacred Geome Treehouse was built by a resident on the farm, and it is now available for you to stay in!
The TreeHouse is up for short term rental (2-night minimum), through Airbnb. Regular price is $79/night (Nov-April), and there is a special discounted ‘green-season rate’, at $69/night (May-Oct). To make a reservation, please visit the following link or email [email protected].
This structure is incredibly unique and has an incredible view. It is comprised of four different structures; a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and a phenomenal platform, named the ‘Awarenest’. The different structures are supported by local Melina trees, as they grow incredibly fast, and are virtually bug-proof.
The treehouse has its own electricity and running water (including flushing toilets and hot shower). It has ample storage space, and some more classic comforts, such as the flat-screen TV!
If you’re interested in the process by which this iconic structure was built, see Icosahedron Treehouse Construction. For a detailed view of the TreeHouse, you can find it featured on TreeHouse masters (Cost is $2.00, from 22:08 – 23:32 in the video).
Such is the popularity of this particular treehouse, Victoria’s Secret ventured here for a photo-shoot. The images made their 2016 swimsuit catalog, and can also be found on their blog!
I want to stay! Where is this TreeHouse?
The TreeHouse is located on Rancho Delicioso (How to Find Rancho Delicioso), which is located between the scenic beach towns of Montezuma and Santa Teresa, near Cobano, on the Southern Nicoya Peninsula. We suggest either renting a car if you wish to travel the area or be prepared to pay for local taxis.
What’s in the area?
The TreeHouse is located on a permaculture farm and yoga retreat. It is close to spectacular beaches, wild tropical rainforests, and beautiful local towns. There are local restaurants to visit, as well as one right here on the farm. You are more than welcome to join the community meals for a small fee.
